eine Spielerin aus meiner Mannschaft ist am Wochenende 30 geworden. Die passende Karte wurde natürlich von mir bereitgestellt ;) Da wir ihr einen Wasserkocher geschenkt haben (sie liebt Tee!) wollte ich die passende Karte dazu kreieren.

a team member from my volleyball team had his 30th. birthday the past weekend. As every I created the card for her :) She loves drinking tea, so we decided to give her an water cooker so she can cook the tea at the right temperatures :)
Für den Hintergrund habe ich die Ink-Smooshing Technik auf Aquarellpapier benutzt. Leider weiß ich so absolut nicht wie ich das erklären soll, daher verlinke ich euch nochmal ein Video von Christina Werner.
For the background I used the ink smoothing technique on watercolor paper. I don't know how to explain this technique that´s why I linked you to a video from Christina Werner.
Über das Aquarellpapier habe ich Transparentpapier geklebt. Innen drinnen sind Pailletten, sodass das ganze eine Schüttelkarte wurde. Die Mädels lieben die Schüttelkarten, deshalb wollte ich hier unbedingt eine kreieren :) Dadurch, dass kein Abstand zwischen den zwei Schüttelschichten ist, schüttelt es nicht so stark hin und her. Aber dieses ma fand ich es ganz passend :)
I glued some vellum over the watercolor paper and put some sequins between them. This created a "small" shaker card. There is no foamtape between the two shaker pieces, that´s why the sequins does´t shake that lot. But for this card it was just perfectly :) The girls love shaker cards, so of course I wanted to create one.
Die Tassen habe ich auf bunten Papier (Blau und Mittsommerland) gestempelt. Diese Technik kenne ich von Lucy Abrams. Ich fand es hier total praktisch, da ich kaum noch Zeit hatte und deshalb nicht groß kolorieren konnte. Nachdem ich die Tassen dann ausgeschnitten und zusammen gesetzt habe, habe ich sie mit Glossy Accents eingedeckt. So glänzen sie und schauen wirklich wie Porzellan aus. Wie immer musste bei mir der Spruch in weiß auf schwarzes Papier gestempelt und embossed werden.
This cups were stamped on some patterned paper. These technique I got from Lucy Abrams. It was really useful because I hadn't that time to do lots of coloration. I fuzzy cut the cups, glued them on the card and put some glossy accents over them. They got very shiny and at gives you the illusion of real porcelain. of course I had to stamp the sentiment on some black card stock and heat emboss.
